I need some sources that sell seatbelts for my coupe. I also need to know the best place to mount them and proper procedure. Thanks.

You can purchase some seat belts from LeBaron Bonney. They offer two different types: the push button style that I have used, available in five different colors; and the chrome lift latch style that are available in fourteen different colors. Seat belt anchor plates are also available from them. When I added them to one of my cars, I drilled two 1/2 inch diameter holes about 17 1/2 inches apart from each other just behind the rearmost position of the front seats and the stationary position of the rear seat bottoms.

Dont forget the carpet --- cut a X in the carpet where the drill hole is suppose to be or take a 1/2 inch copper pipe and grind an end into a circle chisel. Then 'punch' a hole in the carpet. If you dont -- the drill will wind your carpet up a thread at a time.

Try Juliano's 800 300-1932. They supply belts of various designs for the street rod guys. Juliano's also sells a steel backing plate to keep the belt from ripping through the floor. It makes for a very neat installation.
