Does anyone know where I can purchase a manual/booklet that let's me know the instructions of how to put the top down on a 1936 Cabriolet - not a Club Cabriolet? Or do I use the same instruction book for a Club Cabriolet?

I believe they were offered as a reprint in the V8 Times a couple of years ago. Suggest you search there. Not sure if the Cabriolet and the Club Cabriolet were both offered.

The cabriolet has its own top instruction booklet. Here are the images from that booklet.

Is there also a manual for the four door convertable

Yes, There are manuals for the Phaeton and the Convertible Sedan. The Phaeton didn't come out till 1936 and the Conv. Sedan in 1935. Later in 1936 a manual came out for the trunk back Conv. Sedan

The 1936 Club Cabriolet is the model offered thru the V8 Times and eBay sales. I'm going to start selling the few 1936 CABRIOLET booklets I have thru eBay soon.

If the pictures supplied by Don Rogers don’t work for you, I have a reproduced individual booklet for a 1936 Cabriolet for sale. For the last 25 years I’ve been searching for the 1935 version, but have only found a 1936. The individual allowed me to have it copied, but he would never sell it and I have lost contact with him over the years.

It is in the original size, shape, and has the blue cover as issued for glove compartment storage. There is no form number on it so as not to conflict with Ford copyright laws. The other way one can tell it’s not an eighty year old original is that it does not include any oil or grease marks, tears, folds, or chicken scratching normally found with the booklet.

It’s available for $25.00 which includes shipping/postage within the U.S. If you’re interested contact me at: l.gminski@att.net
