Can anyone tell me how to remove the
horn button fron a 36 ford? I can't

Hal, The horn button is attached to the horn/light rod as a unit. The rod goes down through the steering column, through the steering box, and is accessible down there by the removal of the bale, popping off the cover, and twisting the spring loaded key at the bottom end of the rod. (I'd suggest that you thoroughly clean the cover of oil and grease before you attempt to open it up, as the electrical contacts within must remain clean!) ...You can then disconnect the horn wire that goes through the rod, and from up topside, extract the assembly.

If yours is a closed car, or one without a roll down back window, you won't be able to pull the rod completely out without bending it, which would be disastrous.

Once the rod is up off the steering wheel, you'll see how it is attached from the underside.

On re-assembly, be sure to orient the horn button correctly to the light switching contacts below.
