Just bought a 51 Business coupe,and it has been painted a bunch of times. I'm trying to figure out what the original paint and interior colors were so I can redo it as original . My VIN number on the data plate is H1NR13XXXX The trim (?) numbers on the same plate reads as below/ 72C A B 25E642 Can anyone help me with this? I ordered the club 49-51 Ford book tonight,but it obviously hasn't came in yet.

I will take an attempt at this.......trim 72C = Deluxe Business Coupe A = Black paint B = Deluxe Broadcloth, tan stripe 25E642 = 25th day of E=May 642nd vehicle built H = 6 cyl 1 = 51 NR = New Richmond 13xxxx number assembled If I am incorrect look for corrections -- this information came from the book you just ordered.
