  I come to red light it turns green and I step on it and she bucks or when I turn corner and she drops to about 15 she bucks

  It's normal for the car to buck in third gear at speeds below 20 mph, and for that reason it's best to downshift into second at around 25 mph.

  Ok thank you , below 25 shift to second. Woe worn model a this wouldn't happen it would pick right up. Thanks again I feel better about it. I thought compression problem John

  Look down the carb throat and watch for fuel jets in both barrels as you work the throttle, If weak, or one side doesn't show a jet of fuel, the accelerator pump in the carb is not working, This can be from alcohol fuel attacking the pump, or the stroke adjusting link on the side of the carb being loose or not connected. If the car has backfired, the power valve diaphragm is likely damaged.
