Where is vacume picked up when a 41 block which has the vacume connection at the intake manifold. But using a crab dist which has a vacume passage on the cover and a I assume a passage in the block. This is hard to explain. There is no line connection hole on a crab dist need help on this one. ken ct. I assume hes using a spacer plate to move the crab out more.The line from the manifold runs to a boss on the helmet dist itself. There is no boss on a crab one,where is the line hooked up for a crab. You need to install the two bolt timing gear cover. That has the threaded port for the vacuum line (fitting).
