This is just an FYI for people wanting to change brakes. I installed 1955 ford pickup front brakes on my 1940 ford. They are a Bendix brake. What a huge difference. You use all the brake parts from pickup. I got my bearing kit from Speedway motors. It is worth the effort. Try it.

The F-100 brakes are an excellent upgrade for an old Ford. I'm assuming you got the wheel seals with the bearing kit. At one time the seals were hard to find. I put those brakes on several old Fords and was never disappointed.
