Topic: 1936 front spring

I have a '36 front spring. The spring bundle is held together with a long bolt with a square head. The square heat fits into a square "slot" in the cross member. The only way this fits is everything must be in perfect alignment. As you probably know it isn't easy to hold the spring bundle up and hope everything fits.

I have a spring bolt (possible Model A) that has a round button head. It seems that his would be a lot easier to fit into the cross member slot that an square head. Would a round head work as well as a square head in aligning the spring???

The round head will work. I have used them in the past with no problems.
