I recently had my 8BA Flathead rebuilt for my 1951 F1 Pickup. I have a four speed transmission in the truck. I discovered the fan blade that was in the truck when I bought it, was an older fan blade that didn't come with the truck. I have a lead on a fan on Ebay right now that is 18 1/2" in diameter. Is that too big of a diameter? Should it be 18"?

TFAA 8600A is an 18.5 " 4 blade fan for a 51 F1 8 cyl. There is also a 5 blade fan listed in the parts catalog for it. Tom

Do you have a factory shroud ? If so , make sure that the 18.5 fan will fit it ok .
