I just got a 46 Ford 1 ton truck. The hood was just placed on it. I am looking for a detail diagram of how to install the hood correctly. Any suggestions? Along with the necessary bolts. Thanks Marie

See attached picture...there is some special fastners that attach the hinges to the Hood in the rear...I believe they are 1/4" fine thread hex bolts with a low hex head. The spring supports attach using shoulder bolts...the upper one ot he hood panel being a round head slotted bolt, and the other for spring support to cowl being a hex head shoulder bolt. Roy Nacewitz at Fordoldbolt.com is a good resource for the correct hardware.
