Purchased a new Mack Hils 1935-36 pickup box and have it on the frame. The front, and 2 middle mounting holes line up correctly, but the box is too high for the rear mounting bolts and mounting wood to fit correctly. In other words, the box is sitting too high at the rear cross frame member. I understand that others have had to modify one of the middle mounting brackets on the bed. Does anyone have information on this? I have been eyeing this for sometime and not sure exactly what needs to be done.
