At the San Diego Auto Museum, we are restoring the subject truck and wonder if anyone can tell us if the windshield frames are the same for the Model 51 and the pickup trucks. We need a full frame and windshield and wonder if anyone has one for sale. Our top half is good but the bottom is totally rusted out. Thanks for any help. Dick Kurtz rest shop Dick Kurtz

Dick; The cabs for the 1/2 ton pickup and the larger 131 inch wheel base trucks are the same. I understand that there are new reproduction windshield frames available. Several parts houses have them for sale. Be sure and check to see if you can interchange new vs old or you have to purchase a new unit.
