My cab came out of Body shop missing the cab mounted hinge. Can anyone tell me what year vehicles car or truck (If any) I should look for to replace the hinges on my 112"wheel base PU??? Regards,...t

missing all four? need to tell us what is missing so some of us might be able to help, but off hand the cabs from 40 to 47 are basically the same, I also know that 38/39 door opening is the same size as the 40 to 47

You need to use the hinges from the 40-47 pickups. Passenger car hinges will not work.

Just for info the pickup hinges are approximately 1 7/8 inches wide and the passenger car hinges are 2 1/4 inches wide. Not sure if a part # will help you. I've not seen part #s stamped on hinges. The hinges are riveted to the doors and bolted to the body( at least that is the way they are on my 41 pickup). How could the body shop lose the hinges? I'm just curious. Also for info the big trucks from 40-47 used the same cab and hinges.

Thanks for all the input gentlemen . The body shop located the hinges! (In a drawer) This has been a learning experience . The knowledge you gentlemen have out there is awesome . Thanks again. Regards , Tom
