I bought a front spring ,, it is 36 3/4" from center to center on the eye bolt holes, 2" wide 11 leaves. The spring perches are 42 1/2" apart. Is this spring going to stretch this much? How long are the shackles center to center? From the eye bolt bottoms to the bottom of the spring is 8" It supposedly is for forty ,it just looks short.

Typically springs are dimensioned without load only with "reference" dimensions. The critical dimensions are nearly always called out for when the spring is under load. Mike
