Mike, I had seen a reply from you where you explained what clips and bolts you installed on the body trim on a 40 tudor. I cannot find that thread anywhere.Could you explain agai how you install the trim. Thanks very much Ronnie

Hey Ronnie, I might suggest you purchase the clip kit(s) from Carpenter. They are both complete and of good quality. Rear quarter pieces required a number of spring clips and authentically utilized a special bolt clip at the two ends and one or two in the middle. The door pieces were typically installed with spring clips - no special bolt clips. The hood side pieces utilized a special bolt clip at each end with spring clips in the middle area. I tend to use more special bolt clips than original on the quarter and door trim. That allows me to better align the trim along the side of the car. I elongate the adjacent holes between the quarter and door and the door and cowl. Installing the special bolt clips in those places only slightly "snug" I make certain the trim is perfectly aligned and only then tighten the clips securely. Hope this helps... Mike
