Topic: Restoration book help

  Hey guys,
I would like to ask for a bit of help in the completion of my '40 restoration manual.
As many of you realize, I've been working on this for some time now. It's completion is looming and I find I am at a loss for high quality photographs of sedans.
This book promises to be the most comprehensively researched and documented book to date in regard to a "correct" 1940 Ford. As such, I ask for photos that are of "correct" cars.
No disrespect intended to modified vehicles but (obviously) the nature of this book is authenticity.
So, if you are so willing, please private message me with what you may be able (and willing) *to offer and I will respond with my email address.
Pictures to be considered should have a background that is as uncluttered as possible. Yes, that old gas station in the background is cool, but not something that "fits" the books structure.
I would prefer what is typically referred to as a "3/4" shot as well as a side shot.
Thanks in advance,
Mike "Kube" Kubarth

  Mike,

I don't have a '40 so I can't help there but I do have a good camera (Canon 5d Mark II) and know how to use it. If anyone in Southern California has a '40 and needs some pictures feel free to get back to me.

If you want photos of a Rouge Class 1940 deluxe coupe contact Dale Mathews in Portland , Oregon. It's a very low mileage car and probably the nicest original I have seen. He can be reached at; www.memorylaneclassiccars.com. or phone#503-231-1940
